Liver and Green Beans
Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs Livers, cut into thin bite size portions
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 to cup bacon grease
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 package (about 12oz) of frozen green beans, cooked

Directions

Cut chicken livers in half. Combine flour with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken livers in the flour mixture. Heat bacon grease and butter in a skillet over medium heat until sizzling. Add chicken livers and sauté until lightly browned. Add broth and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Add cooked green beans, cover, and simmer until heated through.
